IEP Coaching
IEP coaching is built for parents who want to walk into IEP meetings prepared, in language the school team has to take seriously. Dr. Johnson understands how these meetings are structured, what documentation affects outcomes, and how to help you take your place at the table as a fully prepared, equal participant.
Parents leave sessions equipped to engage confidently with:

Dr. Johnson does not attend IEP meetings or serve as a formal advocate. His role is to prepare and equip you to participate effectively yourself.
How coaching works
Session 1 (up to two hours): you and Dr. Johnson map what the school is required to do and where your situation sits, then practice reading a document the way the team will.
Session 2: you build your document in your own words and check it against what the school owes you.
Session 3: scheduled close to your meeting, you prepare to present your request and respond to what the team says.
Before session 1, you complete a short preparation step: gathering what you have in writing and answering a few questions. Coaching begins once it is done.
$595 for three sessions, paid in advance.
IEP Document Audit
You wrote a draft. Maybe a chatbot helped. Before it goes out, know what it does and does not do. The audit reads your document the way the receiving office will: what it asks for, what it proves, what it leaves open, and where the language works against you. You receive written findings with sources. The decision to send it stays yours.
$195 per document.
For IEP and school-related documents. Court documents are not accepted.
Scheduling & Cancellation Policy
Sessions begin at the scheduled time. If you arrive late, the session ends at the originally scheduled time and the full fee applies.
- Rescheduling is free with at least 24 hours’ notice.
- Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before a session result in forfeiture of that session’s payment.
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance receive a full refund or credit toward a future session.
- No refunds are issued for no-shows or same-day cancellations.
- Technical difficulties on the client’s end should be reported to Dr. Johnson as soon as possible. Please reschedule rather than joining late. Standard rescheduling terms apply.
